Heywood House Front

Heywood House - Open now!

Originally owned by the Heywood family back in the 1800’s ‘Heywood House Children’s Nursery’ is the latest addition to our group of family run nurseries. We have extensively renovated the Grade II listed building to create a vibrant and welcoming children’s nursery for all. The striking feature of the nursery is its location, within a charming and attractive grade II listed building which has been redecorated with fun bright colours. The gardens to the rear have been extensively renovated so that the children can learn and develop in a secure green space, outdoors with nature, whilst having fun with their friends.

SENCO's - Special Educational Needs Coordinators

The SENCO works closely with outside agencies, practitioners and parents to provide effective strategies and interventions to support children. Our SENCO’s have regular meetings with our parents and staff to ensure we are supporting our children in all the ways they need. They discuss how they will put certain plans into place to gain progress. Working together gives us the opportunity to succeed and have positive outcomes. Our SENCO’S are responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the staff to understand what things need to be put in place for each individual SEN child.
